  • AWWA D103 97 (Bolted steel tanks for water storage), (This code is used only for the derivation of Earthquake loads. The seismic section of which is almost identical to the method contained in the New Zealand œRed Book document (Seismic design of storage tanks 1986) )
  • AWWAD103 will be used only to determine the earthquake loading used for the design calculations. (If required or desired by ACUS).
  • Wall thickness and wind girts are calculated using first principals.
